In 2015, the artist was teaching an illustration class to at-risk youth in St. Petersburg, Florida. In a demonstration of how design marker and india ink could be used an 18 x 24 portrait of AC/DC guitarist Angus Young was created on illustration board. This was the first use of Craig's black and white style over a strategically chosen color design, beginning the "Red Series."
