Estan Iniki (Cecile Boy)

Estan Iniki (Cecile Boy)

Estan Iniki, received her name from her father, Short Robe. An enemy entered Short Robe's camp. He was a large man with only one hand. Short Robe came out of his lodge and surprised the intruder, who knocked Short Robe to the ground and shoved the stump of his hand into his throat.

As short robe choked he was able to draw his knife and kill his attacker. He would name his daughter “Kills Before” because he killed his enemy before he could be killed. Estan Iniki was a respected artisan who married and was known as Cecile Boy and was the step daughter of Bird Rattle.
